If you aren’t on TikTok, what are you waiting for? It seems like everyday, we are bombarded with new hacks that make our life so much easier. With so many TikTok videos going viral, you may be curious which food trends are not only tasty, but healthy.

Salmon Rice 🍚

This trend involves flaked salmon mixed with cooked white rice, topped with avocado, sriracha mayo, and seaweed. Yum, this one is not only DELICIOUS, it is actually very healthy. The combination of protein from the salmon, mixed with starchy rice and vegetables, makes this a complete and balanced meal. Give this one a try!

Air Fryer Pasta Chips 🍝

These air fried pasta chips are first boiled as you normally would boil pasta. Then, they are sprinkled with parmesan cheese and drizzled with olive oil. Depending on the recipe, you can also have some variety when it comes to seasonings and spices used. Then, the pasta is air fried into crunchy chips, perfect for dipping into marinara sauce. These are super delicious! While pasta is not always what you think of when you think of health food, when paired with a protein and vegetables, these are a perfectly healthy snack.

Ranch Dill Pickles 🥒

This trend is rather simple, only requiring 2 ingredients: a jar of pickle spears and a packet of ranch seasoning. To make these pickles, you add the ranch packet to the jar of pickles and shake. Once they have been combined, let the flavors meld in the fridge for at least 24 hours. While incredibly tasty, these are not the healthiest. Pickles already are pretty high in sodium, but once you add the ranch packet, the sodium in these is through the roof. We’d recommend limiting consumption of these.

Frozen Honey 🍯

Frozen honey was all the rage on TikTok a few months back. This trend involves freezing a bottle of honey until it turns into a thick gelatinous texture. Tiktokers recommended eating it in big chunks. Unfortunately, we have to recommend against this trend. While natural, honey is essentially all sugar and eating large quantities is not recommended.
